KMDとして1991年にアルバム『Mr. Hood』でメジャー・デビュー。続く2作目となる『Black Bastards』を完成させるものの、人種差別を逆手に取った挑発的なアート ワークが問題となりお蔵入りに。その後、実弟でもあり、グループのDJ=サブロックが不慮の事故で他界。暫しの間シーンから姿を消した後、MF Doom (メタル・フェイス・ ドゥーム)と名前を変え、盟友ボビート主宰のアングラ最強レーベル:から1999年にはソロ・アルバム『Operation Doomsday』をリリース。その後も様々な オルター・エゴを操り圧倒的なリリースを重ね注目の高まる中、さらにMadlibとのコラボMadvillainで再び世界中を魅了した。現在もの援護射撃のもと、 精力的かつミステリアスな活動を続けている。そんなMF Doomによる歴史的名盤『Operation Doomsday』がまたしても新装パッケージでリリース決定!! 先日発売された ランチボックス仕様も完売、いまやコレクター・アイテムとなっていますが、今回もMF Doom本人の監修の元、『MM...
